COMMON NAME: Burmese Teak, Genuine Teak
COLOR DETAILS: Heartwood is reddish to golden brown, sapwood is pale yellow to tan. Teak wood darkens naturally with exposure to light. FEQ grade is pure heartwood.
WEIGHT: 4.5 to 5.0 lbs. per board foot kiln dried.
WORKABILITY: Easy to work with both hand and machine tools. Finishes and glues well despite in high oil content. Naturally durable and weathers extremely well.
